Emilio C. Sánchez is the Miami bureau chief of EFE News Agency, the world leading Spanish content news provider. He started the EFE US Hispanic news service and is now in charge of providing Spanish and English content. He was formerly bureau chief of EFE’S Washington office, and was editor in chief for the Latin America and US agency.
As a correspondent in Europe he was in charge of the economic and financial information of the European Community in Brussels and NATO, where he followed the fall of the Berlin Wall and the vivid historic transformation of Europe. Graduated from journalism from the University of Navarra (Spain), he is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in new media challenges and the transformation of news agencies to multimedia. He is coauthor with Alberte G. Patino of the bestseller book in Spain: " Arriortúa. Superlópez y La Guerra Oculta Entre General Motors y Volkswagen". He also collaborated in the book: "La Guerra en Directo. La Agencia EFE en el Golfo". Sánchez is the President of the Foundation Spain-Florida 500 years. As a journalist and analyst he frequently makes appearances.
